I'd describe my personality as outgoing, personable, and gentle. I like caring for people with special needs because I love to see the world through their perspective. I've learned something from every encounter I've had involving adults with special needs and it gives me a sense of gratitude and fulfillment. I'm looking for a job that allows me to fulfill my passion of working with individuals who are differently abled. I would love to build relationships with not only those that I work with directly, but those who love and care for them. I started caring for people with special needs when my grandmothers health began to deteriorate. The peace that I felt when she passed away in 2011, knowing that I cared for her to my best ability, gave me a yearning to be that for others who's family may not have the means to provide around the clock care.
