About Mickie

I'd describe my personality as willing, cheery, and helpful! I am very strong and tall for many tasks like lifting for standing, transferring, and stabilization. I am very reliable with my successful experience as a nursing assistant in many different environments for almost a decade. I have grown up in the deaf culture, I am a CODA, child of deaf adults. Eye contact and communication is key in my daily relationships. It is this background that made me fall in love with helping others in daily living. In my spare time, I love to read, journal, cook in cast iron, and get some sun! I think being honest and trustworthy are the most important things, no matter where you are in this journey of life. I think we are presented with situations and opportunities to learn from everyday. It is a daily choice for take those lessons and put them to good use.
