About Mickie

I'd describe my personality as funny, cheery, and helpful! I like working with kids because I like to be the one to explain all of their "why?" questions! I'm looking for a job that relieves families and be the one to give them a break, because they need it the most. I started working with kids when I became a mother at 18! I also worked in a long term living facility where I fell in love with assisting others with daily living. In my spare time, I like to read, rollerskate, cook, and lay in the sun! One thing you should know about me is I am very trustworthy. I think being honest is one of the most important things no matter where you are in this journey of life. I think we are presented with situations to learn from everyday and it is about your attitude where you can take those lessons and put them to good use. My skills include preventing altercations, transitioning to different activities, and giving caring affection in a professional setting.
