I have worked in residential care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 4 years! I am Med Aide certified, as well as CPR/First Aide certified. I'm been working with young adults/seniors, but willing to work with all ages! I like caring for people with special needs because I love seeing the difference I can make. I feel passionate about making sure the people I care for are treated with decency and respect. I started caring for people with special needs when I was 18 years old. After highschool, I started working at an ISL home, and right now I work full time at an adult day center for individuals on the spectrum. In my spare time, I like to read, listen to music, spend time with my pets, and go to concerts. One thing you should know about me is that I truly love caring for people. I believe that in this field it can be difficult to find someone who truly does the work because they enjoy it, but instead is in it for the pay.
