About Michelle

I have been a caregiver for over 15 years. I have worked in a variety of settings, including private homes, live-in caregiving, home healthcare facilities, and specialized neurocare environments. I've provided care for individuals with alzheimer's, dementia, cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and other complex conditions. My experience also includes working with paraplegic and quadriplegic clients. One of the most meaningful and challenging experiences in my life was caring for my mother, who was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). I managed her ventilator, tracheostomy, feeding tube, medication and assistive technology like the Tobi Eye Gaze system. I also handled power wheelchairs and Hoyer lifts. Despite the challenges, I provided her with the love and care she needed until she passed away two years ago. I'm ready to return with renewed purpose. I am committed to providing personalized, empathetic care, ensuring each individual feels safe, valued, and supported.
