About Michelle

Hi there! I recently graduated with a degree in P-12 Art Education. I have cared for/worked with children of all ages but have the most experience with 3-6y/o. I am passionate about creating safe and caring environments. I care about building positive relationships through thoughtful, engaging, and supportive interactions. I enjoy leading crafts, spending time outside and in nature, encouraging imaginative play and creativity, and reading books. I work hard to support diverse child needs and can accommodate a variety of different schedules. I look forward to getting to know each family I work with and am excited to help in anyway I can! I have worked the past 3 summers as the Lead day camp counselor for the 3-6y/o groups. I completed my student teaching working with grades pre-k through 5th and 7th-12th. I have also worked as a Kumon tutor, an elementary school BASP assistant, and have babysat for families with children aged 5months-11yrs/o. I am fully CPR and First Aid Certified:)
