I have over 25 years of experience working with children in both Special Education and regular education for the public school systems and private care settings. I have volunteered and continue to volunteer on an ongoing basis in many different community service settings for children and adults. Currently, I am a Substitute Teacher for a major school system in Georgia where I have the opportunity to work with students with many different care needs, disabilities, or behavioral challenges. I am passionate about this field of work because I have been called, trained, and educated to do this. I desire to see children thrive and grow regardless of their challenges or obstacles. I am currently a student at Georgia State University pursuing a Master's degree in School Counseling.
