I was a Veterinary Assistant for 9 years; Handling many animals in that time, including our boarding animals. It was a lot of hard work, but SO worth it because of the unwavering love from my "patients!" You can count on my professionalism and dependability. I am at home on the floor at an animal's level, playing, brushing, or just cuddling. I will keep my "Veterinary eye" on them as well; administer medication, transport and give insulin if need. If you're traveling, you can count on the assurance of safety of your pet and home; i. e. light rotation, p/u mail, trash to curb, and I can honor special requests. My husband and I needed someone to look after our 3 cats while we were away on vacation for 9 days. Prior to us leaving, my cat Archimedes was hospitalized for 4 days. He was in critical condition. Once he was stabilized and released our vacation looked like it was going to be cancelled. Thank goodness I found Michelle! I explained to her everything our cats would need: manually palpating Archimedes bladder to ensure there was no new swelling, feeding all the cats both wet/dry food, providing clean water for them, and administering medications to Archimedes. Fast forward to Michelle providing all of that and more! She cleaned out the litter boxes without us asking, stuck around to play with the cats, sent us photos of them while we were away, provided me with updates, and left detailed "report cards" daily for me. After a couple days being away on our trip Michelle managed to ease my anxiety to where I began to enjoy my vacation. My cats were not stressed. Will be using Michelle again!
