I was a special education teacher for 5 1/2 years. I have experience teaching kids in grades pre-k through 8th grade. I have experience with high need individuals (needing tube feedings, changing, seizures, lifting), and low need individuals (Moderate and Mild intellectual disabilities). I also worked at a camp for individuals with special needs for 4 summers. Here I worked with individuals ages 8-21. While I don't have a lot of experience with infants or adults, I would love to work with them! I am comfortable with most pets, though I don't love dogs. I love to be active and go outside. Some of my favorite activities to do with my students are social emotional lessons, arts and crafts and gaining new life skills. I love reading to children. I am comfortable in the kitchen. I have dietary needs myself, so I am able to make meals for anyone and any needs!
