As a childcare provider I have a limited background in special needs; however, I am passionate about children and their right to the best possible care that we can provide for them. My experience of caring for children has always been with single family, in home care for children and the family. I helped to look after a dozen nieces and nephews as they grew up, often keeping several wee ones for days at a time. I have had the pleasure of raising three fantastic children of my own. I believe children are extraordinary people. The wonder and delight of childhood should be nurtured and facilitated. Children require a mix of love and structure, in a safe environment tailored to their development. I look forward to the many tasks and delights that come with caring for children. Park trips, homework, afternoon activities, and the many other things that make up a child's day.
