About Michelle

Hi, my name is Michelle! I started my early childhood journey after graduating from Kent State University in 2015. During my time at Kent State I received my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, Masters Degree in Special Education and my Reading Endorsement. I have been tutoring for over 10 years and my favorite thing about tutoring is watching the child grow academically throughout our time together! I started off my tutoring career working in Kent City schools as a Title 1 tutor and worked with children from Kindergarten through 5th grade on English and Math. When I finally landed a job as a classroom teacher, I would tutor my students and other students in the building after school. I did this for a few years and then when the pandemic hit, I worked for VIP Kids and implemented English as a Second Language in one-on-one online tutoring session to children in China. I now have my own tutoring business where I offer online tutoring and in person tutoring!
