My name is Michelle, and I am a nursing student at the University of Southern Maine. My caregiving journey has been lifelong. As a mother of four (ages 29, 26, 16, and 15), I have taken on roles such as nurse, driver, housekeeper, cook, and confidante. For the past 20 years, I worked as a social worker, helping the disadvantaged. I have also worked as a Home Health Aid, Phelbotomist and a CNA working with those living with Alzheimer's and Dementia. I resigned from social work and am currently enrolled in nursing school. I am eager to work with older adults in their homes, providing care and support. I am kind, compassionate, and bring a wealth of life experience to caregiving. I look forward to making a positive impact in the lives of the elderly.
