About Michelle

During my childhood my youngest brother had cerebral palsy and cared for him on a daily basis. I learned: what foods he could eat, how to feed him, get him in/out of his wheelchair, his daily physical therapy, communicating with him using modified sign language or his touch talker machine. For 25 years I was a military wife raising 10 children (biological, stepchildren, and adopted) while navigating through the ups and downs of military life. During this time I operated a certified home day care on both an Army/Marine Base while complying with all rules, regulations, and inspections. For many years I held the titles of coordinator and trainer of the Key Volunteer Program with various commands giving me extensive experience in dealing and caring for military families both on and off base. My youngest is a very independent 15-year-old which gives me the opportunity to rejoin the workforce. I am currently certified in Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED until 07/08/2020.
