About Michelle

I am a professional nanny with over 30 years of experience. I cannot imagine a day without a daily dose of hugs, kisses, laughter, silly noises, play, smiles, and unfortunately sometimes tears. Over the past 30 years I have encountered all types of circumstances and situations with children; looking after infants to preteens, taking care of sick children, and running a household with both parents traveling. I have gained a diverse work experience due to varied household demographics. My overall goal is to provide the best possible care and nurturing for the children in my care. One of the most important characteristics of being a nanny is understanding how to be an active listener and being able to acknowledge a child's feelings. This is important because children need to be able to express themselves freely. I attended NYU for a childcare management program and went to nanny school. I also have read many books on child-care, attended seminars, training programs, and passed INA exam.
