About Michelle

I have been tutoring math and science since the time I was in high school and so I have about 20 years of experience. I have a degree in Biology and Chemistry and experience teaching high school math as well. I am able to tutor Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Chemistry and Biology. I also have experience working with elementary-aged children in math and reading. I am happy to tutor junior high level math. With math and science classes, as the year progresses, one lesson builds upon another. If a student fails to grasp a concept, they start to struggle with each lesson after that, as the new skills expect a high level of understanding of previous concepts. I am quite good at finding the underlying concepts that the student is missing and helping the student to understand those.
