About Michelle

I am currently available for summer care and tutoring, and after school tutoring in the Fall. I am an outgoing, responsible, active person. I raised 3 children of my own, and have always played an active role in the community. My undergraduate degree is in Education. I hold a California Multiple Subject teaching credential, and have enjoyed teaching, coaching and tutoring local youths for the past 25 years. I spent 11 years at a play-based preschool program. I completed 250+ hours of course work related to early child development. I worked as a middle school science teacher, and also spent 8 years working with students with intellectual and/or physical differences. Thus, I have experience working with both neurodiverse and neurotypical students. I regularly provide academic tutoring in all content areas. Next Fall I'll begin my 10th year teaching grade 3 in Menlo Park. I am CPR certified, prescreened and fingerprinted as required by the CTC and California.
