About Michelle

I have over 10 years of experience in education, including teaching and tutoring math. I am skilled at differentiating and scaffolding learning and using methods that work best for each individual student. It is always my priority to create a safe, encouraging, and inclusive environment for my students where they can learn and thrive! I like tutoring because it is really incredible to watch my students' confidence grow as they master a new skill. I started tutoring about 10 years ago when I served as an AmeriCorps volunteer in a community high school. This motivated me to pursue my degree and certification in education. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my kids, run, hike, and be on the water in a kayak or on a paddle board.
