I am an English teacher who is currently employed by San Francisco Unified School District. I have been in Des Moines staying with family since all of my teaching has been online since last March. I have 6. 5 years of teaching English Language Arts in San Fran 6th grade , 2. 5 years teaching Intensive Reading for high school. Additionally I taught English Credit Recovery for 2. 5 years. This is a class offered by San Francisco schools who have failed their English class and need the credit to graduate. I am fully credentialed in English for the state of CA. Additionally, I hold a certificate to teach English Language Learners. I would like to tutor students who need extra support with their literacy skills over the summer of 2021. I am comfortable teaching all levels of students who need such support. I grew up in Des Moines, attending St. Augustin's and Roosevelt High Schools.
