About Michelle

I have been in the childcare field for over 10 years. I am currently employed as a teacher at the Goddard School, where I have been a lead teacher for 6 years. I have an AAS in Early Childhood Education, allowing me to obtain positions in previous daycare centers as well as the Goddard School. Working in daycare/early development settings sparked my interest because I feel it is important for children to learn and explore through play. While children of all ages play, they learn how to play alone, problem solve, play with peers and collaborate. This is important to me because it allows children to work things out on their own with the guidance of an adult they trust. As well as having experience as a teacher, I am also a mother of two children, ages 2 and 5. With that being said, I intend to care for any child/children I take care of as if they are my own. My goal is not only to keep your child/children safe but to educate them in a fun, exciting way!
