Hi! I was certified as a CNA in 1993. I worked for many years at nursing homes and in home care specializing in dementia and Alzheimer's care. For the last 6 years I have been caring for a patient with ALS. In that job I realized that I have a passion for being the voice for those without one. I am very kind and patient. I do not currently hold a CNA certification due to leaving the field for 10 years while I explored the world of entrepreneurship. I owned a resale shop and then a restaurant. Neither of those things fulfilled me as my true calling is caregiving.

I hired Michelle to help me care for my husband who had ALS. Michelle very quickly developed a wonderful relationship with my husband even though he relied on an eye-gaze computer to communicate. She was very attentive to his needs and jumped into action the minute he needed something. She took her role as caregiver seriously and was willing to do anything we needed. She went above and beyond the normal duties which I greatly appreciated. She communicated well with me to work with my schedule as much as possible. I was grateful to have her until my husband passed. I would highly recommend Michelle as a caregiver.
