About Michelle

I'd describe my personality as curious, silly, and kind. I like tutoring because I find it very rewarding to help (young) people obtain their goals and enjoy sharing knowledge. I also really appreciate the impact a supportive person can have on a person's life. I started tutoring when I was in high school. I also worked mentoring youth for several years. I am a UH student who is studying physics. I have tutored youth in subjects like reading, writing, history, math, and science, including geology and astronomy. In my spare time, I like to hang out at the beach, go roller skating at the park and relax at home. My skills include engaging with children's attention and curiosity, advanced knowledge of math and science, and having a gentle approach working with children.
