I have a brother who has an intellectual disability and have taken care/watched him for atleast 10 years. His friends have disabilities as well and I have often watched all of them. The disabilities I have cared for include: Cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, intellectual disabilities, and nonverbal individuals. I took ASL for 2 years and can communicate on a basic level. I am QMAP certified, First aid and CPR certified, and have completed training's for COVID. I am passionate about working with and supporting individuals with disabilities because they are the nicest people I have met and they need more people in their corner to support them.
