I have a cousin with special needs. My family watches her often, and I am her favorite to play with. I spend many hours taking care of and playing with her. I also have an older brother who has autism (Aspergers.) I am familiar with his idiosyncrasies, and help him out with his handwriting and other needs he has, especially being his scribe for school work. I used to babysit a boy who had autism, and I was his favorite babysitter. I was able to calm him down when he had meltdowns, and would get down on his level and try to understand his point of view.
