About Michelle

I have always had a passion for children. I started in high school teaching swimming lessons then worked in traditional child care & nannying during college. When a move took me to Chicago I started nannying full-time for a family with first one then a second child. After a couple of years I wanted to get back into traditional childcare. I opened and operated a very successful in home childcare business for 3 years. When a move brought me to Kansas I continued to have a few children in my home for care until 1999 when I choose to focus on my family. In 2014 I started and operated a kids gymnastics facility focusing on preschool programing and school age team programs. I made lesson plans, class schedules, taught classes of all ages, ran summer camps, birthday parties and online learning classes. We closed in 2020 (as many businesses did). I'm now looking to share my passion for children on a temporary basis. Working on my postpartum Doula certificate.
