I have 20 years of child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, preschool/kindergarten teaching assistant, lead teacher, and substitute teacher. I have taken care of children in more than 25 private homes including moderate housekeeping. The grandfather who was visiting one of the houses where I was a nanny bought me a wristwatch as a gift when he finished a 3-month visit and later he explained that he bought the watch for me because I was always cleaning something so I should have a waterproof watch. At a different house the father asked me if I had OCD because I was always cleaning and the compliment surprised me because I assumed as a Veterinary Surgeon he would also appreciate a sanitary kitchen environment. I was a fitness center attendant and supervisor for four years including cleaning the gym floors, gym equipment, and locker rooms. I was a hotel lobby attendant and also provided hotel room housekeeping services.
