Caring for seniors is an enjoyable challenge for me. It's not just about meeting their physical needs but also creating meaningful relationships. I began caring for seniors when I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in social work and initially worked in a skilled nursing facility with residents needing Alzheimer's and dementia care. About 3 years ago I re-entered the senior care arena providing 1 on 1 care. My interest in caring for senior citizens is rooted in a desire to honor their lives and promote their well-being. My experience includes assistance with daily activities such as running errands, meal preparation, medication management, light housekeeping, dressing and personal hygiene, as well as providing companionship and emotional support. I can provide transportation as needed. I am available for overnights 1-2 days a week. My overnight shifts are usually 4pm-8 a.m. but I have some flexibility with that :) In my spare time I read voraciously, hike and volunteer at my church.
