About Michala

I have 11 years of experience working with children. I started out at my local church nursery where I found my love for children. A friend referred me to a gym near by where I became the lead preschool gymnastics coach. During my undergraduate degree, I worked under the supervision of pediatric occupational, speech and physical therapist. After obtaining my degree, I worked at Hampton middle school as a paraprofessional where my kiddos became a family. As a career, I went into sale but missed working with children. This is when I got my certification as a behavior therapist and worked directly under a behavior analyst in home as well as clinical settings. I have been a nanny for the last two years in the same home. I am unfortunately moving to the Auburn location and looking for a position a little closer to home since I have been driving an hour and half to work. If I was not moving, I would have definitely stayed put with my current family. I am great with pets/household chores. :
