I have taught preschool to 3rd grade for 8 years at a progressive public school in District 2 in New York City. I am proud to hold a certification as an Orton-Gillingham reading and writing tutor. This renowned methodology has proven incredibly effective in helping children with dyslexia develop their reading and writing skills. Moreover, the intensive nature of the Orton-Gillingham approach benefits all students. In addition to reading and writing, I tutor early childhood mathematics using the Singapore Mathematics curriculum.

Michael is a phenomenal English tutor. He is professional, punctual, kind and intuitive. He helped my son not only make huge progress in his reading skills (we are a French family living in NY) but he also made learning fun, keeping my son engaged, focused and confident by adapting to his specific learning style. My son used to shy away from English language books but now he can’t wait for trips to the library. I hope to hire Michael again very soon, we miss him in the meantime. Strongly recommend!
