This last year I have been caring for an older gentleman as his companion. We take long-walks together, go on dinner/movie dates, and I will sit with him and play games and watch TV. I have prepared over a hundred meals for he and his wife, whom I would run errands for. I have worked as a cook and have my ServeSafe certification. I am physically fit and can move heavy things, do yard work, etc. I am certified with "Let's Walk" here in Charleston. I own a Bachelors Degree in History from Davidson College, and lived and travelled extensively overseas. I can talk to anyone. It brings me such joy to help men and woman at this age that need an empathic friend. I'm looking for a role where I can fill in multiple gaps- outings, errands, driving, meals, chores, etc. I am from an old Charleston family and have deep roots in the community. I have divided to give up 20 year sales career to do something I love instead.

Michael has been a wonderful caregiver for my father who suffers from dementia. He has assisted in providing transportation, as well as going on walks with my father. He has been trained with a local organization called, "Let's Walk", so he's very experienced working with seniors and patients with special care needs. He's also cooked meals for my father, and taken him out to different places to eat. I would highly recommend Michael as a caregiver as he not only does the job well, but he enjoys the time he spends with my father and has made a positive impact in my father's life
