I am sitting for my BCBA exam soon. I have worked with students from the ages of 2 to 25. Along with the usual (reading comprehension, homework support, feeding assistance, speech development, mindfulness, socio-emotional support and deescalation). I have assisted countless students with ASD learn to cook for themselves, navigate daily life, apply to college, jobs and scholarships. At my current position I am currently working with students of ages 2, 7, 14 and 18. Along with my experience in ABA I also have worked for numerous universities/ elementary schools/ day cares with both typically functioning students and students who need a little extra assistance in a support role. On the side I teach life skills and cooking classes to students with ASD and other diagnoses. Special needs caregiver.
