About Michael

I have six years of teaching experience. Teaching was my first job out of college and I love working with the youth and young adults! I excelled while in high school and college, especially in all areas of math, including statistics, English, Spanish and history, with my major being International Business; additionally, I speak both Spanish and Chinese at a competent level. My approach to education is guiding students through every step of the process while learning a concept and as they understand more and more, I gradually lead with a more hands-off approach. I love creating and using flashcards, laughter, and technology to foster a positive, healthy, approachable learning environment for students.
