About Michael

I've always been passionate about nurturing the development of children. With over three years of experience, I've gained the skills to care for children of all ages (toddlers to preteens) I have been a behavioral interventionist and learned skills that help de-escalate children. I feel comfortable in helping a child work through any situation. I have also been a paraprofessional which I worked with pre-K through eighth grade. I feel comfortable adapting to any child's needs. I'm a creative and imaginative individual. I'm friendly, approachable, understanding, and compassionate, which helps me connect with children on a personal level. I am an outspoken individual when it comes to my own identity. I love encouraging children to be themselves and discover who they want to be. I believe in open/honest communication with parents. I provide regular updates on their child's day and address any issues that arise promptly. I'm comfortable following the household rules set by the parents.
