I am a compassionate caregiver with extensive experience supporting individuals with special needs. My background includes bedside care as a patient care assistant, where I provided attentive and personalized support. I've also worked in a day program for adults with physical and mental disabilities, creating a positive and engaging environment for participants to thrive. As a university peer mentor, I had the privilege of guiding and encouraging students with autism, helping them navigate their academic and personal journeys. On a personal level, growing up with three siblings diagnosed with autism and fragile X syndrome has given me a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths of individuals with special needs.
