About Michael

I'd describe my personality as funny, caring, trustworthy and honest. I like working with kids because I've spent most of my life either being a kid, coaching kids, working with kids, raising kids (Three daughters, 24, 22 & 20 - two grandchildren) or teaching kids for 15 years as an elementary physical education teacher (Retired in June 2022). I'm looking for a job that allows me to give back my time and energy to have an impact in a child and family's life, if only for a little while. I started working with kids when I was 18 years old as a baseball coach. In my spare time, I like to hike, watch tv, hang out with my family and cook. One thing you should know about me is my faith in Jesus changed my life 23 years ago. My skills include my easy going attitude, humor, integrity and the ability to turn those frowns upside down. :) My superman quality is that I used to team teach 100 5-year-olds in PE class.
