I'm one of those rare people who since the age of 10 has worked with children for decades, from baby sitting, preschool, infant/toddler care, infant/toddler director, daycare, tutoring, public teacher, and finally, nanny and raised/home-schooled my own daughter together with my wife. Happy to talk by phone. A nanny should be a representative of your love, your beliefs, and your goals for your child, because you are the expert and advocate for your child. The nanny should be a toolbox of wonderful ideas for helping you achieve your goals. I have extensive experience, excellent references and background checks that are easily checked. I specialize in infants and toddlers but have worked with all ages up through age 14.

Michael is a truly dedicated, loving, and competent caregiver. Michael places a high value on integrity and takes any opportunity to gently educate young children on this value. He was always carefully one step behind my young son as he learned to get around the house, allowing him to explore but ready to jump in if he was about to do something that was unsafe. Michael's previous experience as an educator was evident in his interactions with my daughter. She was instantly comfortable with him and enjoyed learning and playing with him tremendously. Michael has a gentle, respectful, and joyful attitude with children and adults alike. Michael has a wealth of experience but is careful to defer to the parents and their own rules. He was willing to work whatever schedule the family needed and was punctual. I trust Michael's judgement in all things related to my children, I value the positive influence he has been in my children's lives.
