About Michaela

I am a recent graduate from Brenau University with a Master's in Occupational Therapy. I have been a hospice volunteer for two years with Kindred Hospice in Gainesville, GA and currently work as a caregiver for a patient with Mitochondrial disease. I love working with more vulnerable populations, those with disabilities or those just needing more needs than others. I am a dedicated, passionate, and an empathetic individual. I am a great listener and my top priority as a caregiver is to keep my patients as independent as possible while making their safety my number one priority. I have completed multiple fieldworks in both pediatrics and adults so my passion to work with people is throughout the lifespan! Whether it is a 5-year-old child or an 85-year-old-I am here to help! My ultimate goal this year is to pass my boards and work as a pediatric occupational therapist!
