About Michaela

I've always loved taking care of children, from helping raise my three younger brothers to tutoring for the last four years. My passion for caregiving, along with my experience working with special needs children, has led me to become a childcare provider. I am creative, energetic, and fun, but also patient and empathetic. I believe in open communication with parents, but I also respect their busy schedules and will adapt to their preferred communication style. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules, and my experience as a CIT and counselor at a zoo camp has taught me how to create fun and educational games for children. With my college degree, Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and my First Aid/CPR training, I am well-equipped to provide quality care for your child. I am also a skilled swimmer and would love to teach your child how to swim! I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision.
