Hello! My name is Michaelanne and I have spent over the course of five years surrounded with the disabled community! I began a job as a camp counselor at Rocky Mountain Village-Easter Seals. Over the course of my time there, I worked with campers from across all backgrounds! I worked with campers with Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Rett Syndrome, and developmental delays. I have worked with a variety of campers, ages ranging from 10 years old to 37 years old. I was also a student Aid in college for a student who had developmental delay. Together we partnered on school work and projects needed to finish his course work, I am trained in bathing care, toilet usage, feeding, dressing, and lifting. I started my time with this community when I was just 16 years old, and I have never been in a more rewarding profession.
