About Michaela

I have 8 years of childcare experience, working with children ranging from 6 months to 13 years old. I worked at an afterschool program where I supervised children, assisted with homework, and provided an enriching environment. In this position, I acquired skills in teaching in a classroom setting. I also began volunteering at a pediatric urgent care where I gained experience in assessing injuries and illness while maintaining a posture that allowed me to comfort and relax distressed children. At my current position, I work with children from 6 months to 6 years of age. My aim is to assist and guide children towards achieving developmental milestones which are tailored to individuals and their age group. For example, working on proprioception, gross and fine motor skills, balance and core strength, and more.
