About Michaela

I have a long experience working as a nanny and also 3 years experience working as a caregiver. Last September 2018 I was hired through Care. com as a caregiver and worked for a famiily almost a year. I took care of a man ( father of 2 kids ), who's health was gradually declining due to ALS disease. I loved my job and the feeling of helping someone. Unfortunately he recently passed away. My responsibilities ( besides making him as comfortable as possible anytime ) included helping him get up using a transfer board, using Hoyer lift, toileting, bathing, preparing food and feeding him, massaging, helping with medication... Keeping him company and helping with simple tasks.. I was also introduced to BiPAP machine. Prior to my last job I have a experience taking care of my grandmother. I am very caring and nurturing person. I am smart, quick and practical.. I am hardworking and full of ideas and I always see what needs to be done. Reference and background check upon request.
