I started caring for people with special needs when my brother was diagnosed with autism at 4 years old . And then my cousin a few years after . They are older now and more advanced but it took a lot of patience and caring to get them where they are now . One thing you should know about me is that my mom is a special needs educator at an elementary school and I will start my studies after summer to follow in her footsteps . My skills include being patient and caring . Understanding and learning an individual to accompany them instead of making them uncomfortable or a burden . Which I think is very important when it comes to working with special needs , seniors and just people in general .
