About Michaela

HI! My name is Michaela, I am 24. I am currently enrolled in my last semeseter at Temple University (online classes mostly) to obtain my Bachlors in Psychology. The plan is to them finish up with my Masters. I also have my associates degree. My long-term goal for my career is to work with kiddos (and teens/young adults) who struggle with mental health (and/or) behavioral health issues. I believe children need and deserve to be able to say how they are feeling and learn healthy coping skills to deal with their emotions. Negative thought patterns start young, and I would love to help break those patterns and turn them into more positive, healthier ones. I have over 8 years of childcare experience. I have been a date night sitter for many families, as well as a reoccurring nanny for two families. I currently nanny 3 amazing kiddos part time and am also a private swim instructor at Sunsational Swim School. Looking foward to chatting! :)
