About Michaela

For the past 20+ years of my life I have been involved in a volunteer education work, 6 of which involved the Mandarin Chinese language. Both as a language learner and as an educator, I've found that when it comes to learning, the best things to give are encouragement, practice, and kind correction. Don't forget to laugh! We all make mistakes, so enjoy the process and what you do learn. Helping someone to feel confident with the ability they do have and helping them have the tools to improve, that's is a wonderful process to see unfold! Such as if you have a specific topic you're looking for help with, and we can discuss a time to schedule a lesson. My schedule is fairly flexible with a two week notice, more urgent and time sensitive sessions will be considered on a case by case basis. Have fun learning!
