About Micala

Hello! My name is Micala ! I'm a passionate childcare provider with three years of experience in babysitting and childcare roles. My time with children has shown me the positive impact I can have on their development, which motivated me to pursue a career in caregiving. I'm a patient, creative, and friendly individual who believes in open and honest communication with parents. I provide daily verbal communication at pickup, and regular updates to ensure parents are well-informed about their child's day and any issues that may arise. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports and board games. I hold an undergraduate degree in social work and I am in school for my graduate degree. I am CPR trained, have a car and I am very comfortable with pets as I have previously worked at a dog kennel for 5 years.
