About Micah

I'd describe my personality as easygoing, optimistic, and curious. I like tutoring because it combines my passion for education with the joy of helping others. Each session is a chance to see real progress, which is incredibly rewarding. Plus, tutoring keeps me learning and growing too, as I constantly adapt to new challenges and perspectives. I started tutoring informally when I was in high school, helping friends with primarily math and science. I started tutoring more formally in the summer before my freshman year in college. In my spare time, I like to hangout with friends, play basketball, and go to the gym. I also enjoy beach trips and going shopping with my girlfriend. One thing you should know about me is that I am good with kids. I have 3 younger siblings between the ages of 4 and 13 so I have a lot of experience with that age group. My skills include subject expertise (specifically in math and science), empathy/encouragement, and patience.
