About Mia

I'm a creative and friendly childcare provider with a passion for supporting families. I'm currently studying to become a radiation therapist at a community and draw inspiration from my own childhood experiences with babysitters and nannies. With one year of experience, I'm comfortable caring for up to two children of varying ages, from toddlers to preteens. I believe in clear communication with parents and provide regular updates about their child's day via text or phone call, whichever they prefer. My approach to childcare involves a mix of educational and fun activities. I love playing outdoor sports, board games, and puzzles, and I'm always looking for ways to promote learning through play. I'm also willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I'm CPR-trained and comfortable enforcing household rules. I believe in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children while also helping them develop independence and responsibility.
