About Mia

Hello! My name is Mia. I am 18 years old and spend most of my time taking care of animals and taking care of kids. I plan to go to college to work with wildlife and study biology. I started volunteering at an equestrian barn when I was 13 years old, I had to care for the horses, clean the barn, etc.. Growing up, I was always the one to call when someone needed a pet sitter on my block. When my childhood dog was sick, I was the one to give him his insulin and medicine. I now take care of my 2 dogs Charlie and Honey, my cat Moonlight, and my two rabbits Schmidt and Cece. I spent last year working at a pet store to save up to go to South Africa and volunteer with wildlife. I am currently applying to more internships with animals and prepping for college! I'd describe my personality as energetic, caring, hardworking I like working with animals because it's simply my passion. I work best when helping animals.
