As an older sister to an individual with autism, I have always been a very compassionate, patient, and positive-natured person! I believe that the portion of our world's population that lives with disabilities causes the rest of us to build a form of gentleness that reaffirms that there is good in this world. I have worked as an instructional aide during the summers and breaks from college for the past 3 years. I am trained and certified in giving First Aid, CPR, Basic Life Support, and CPI. I also have experience with handling seizures and a VNS device. I have worked with students from ages 3 to 21. No matter what age I am caring for, I truly enjoy spending time with anyone who has special needs!
