About Mia

Hello!! I have quite a bit of experience working with pets and livestock. I previously worked as a pet caregiver at a vet owned pet boarding & daycare facility for almost a year until I left for college to pursue a degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M. I had groomed, medicated, supervised, deep cleaned suits, watered, fed, and observed animal behavior from different species and breeds of pets. Prior to me working as a pet caregiver I had worked on a ranch as a horse camp counselor. It was my responsibility to manage equipment and care for horses as well as livestock used throughout the day for camper activities. Lastly, I volunteer at my local animal shelter where I provide TLC to shelter pets by going on walks, giving baths, and performing training sessions.
