About Mia

Aloha, I'm born and raised in Waianae. I graduated Linfield University in McMinnville, OR with a Bachelors in Psychology and minor in Education. I'm a current preschool teacher for almost three years at Seagull Schools Ko'olina. At the end of the summer I will be preparing to move to Hilo at the end of September to be with my fiancé. I'm here to make extra money for the move and support myself through my Masters in School Counseling. I've worked at the Hawaii City and County Department of Parks and Recreation as a Summer Fun leader. I lead children into fun learning activities. And made sure every child is safe and eating well. I worked with children ages 4-7 years old at this position for two years. I've also been a teaching assistant and volunteered at: - A Family Place; McMinnville OR ages 2-5 years old - N Kula Kamalii Preschool; Nanakuli, HI ages 3-5 years old - Linfield University Preschool; McMinnville, OR ages 3-5 years old I can't wait to support you and your children.
